Is Prey worth watching?

After the crowded clunkiness of Black's entry, the series is cleaned up in Prey (2022) by stripping the film description (and, by extension, the famous extraterrestrial beast) down to its pro wrestler core. Prior to the final showdown at "Predator Battle royale," "Predator.vs. Commando” evolved into "Predator.vs.". Now it's just "Predator.vs." Native Warrior is a movie with very few scenes. There are only a handful of perfectly staged scenes, each one a thrillingly savage. Green blood flows as the ultimate hunter cuts his own head. These movies have been used to gauge the state of action cinema since 1987. With its meticulously photographed pandemonium and a bit of showiness, this entry seems right at home in the (first published) post John Wick age. It was a pleasant surprise.
